There are three ways to get to Turrialba from San Jose:
The main access route leads from San Jose passing through Cartago, Paraíso, Cervantes, and Juan Viñas. The road is in a very good shape and the traveller will be able to enjoy breathtaking landscapes as well as several plantations, restaurants and bars that provide excellent service.
The other route passes the outskirts of the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes, passing through Cartago, Pacayas, and Santa Cruz de Turrialba, a place that is famous for the authentic Turrialba cheese.
Another route is through Paraíso, the Valley of Orosì, and then through Tucurrique until arriving to the city of Turrialba.
If you are in the Caribbean, you can visit us coming from Limon, passing by Siquirres, and then you will arrive to Turrialba. The road is in an excellent shape also.
